Are you an expert within farm sustainability, and do you want to deliver sustainable transformation for dairy farms as a project manager and global lead for your area of expertise within Arla?
With the Future26 strategy, Arla has truly put sustainability and climate at the core of the organisation. This involves taking big steps towards sustainable dairy production and carbon net zero dairy.
How will you make an impact?

1. Plant science with a focus on feed production including nutrient management
2. Dairy cow nutrition with a focus on enteric methane and feed efficiency
3. Area-based solutions for remote-sensing or earth-observation processed mapping and verifying land use, nutrient load and/or biomass production.
As one of Arla’s dedicated experts in your field, you will collaborate with other experts in the team to ensure our sustainability tools – including Arla’s FarmAhead Check tool – always are at the forefront of science, while balancing the need for simplicity and practical relevance for dairy farming. In addition, you:
- Are an experienced project manager knowing how to develop and lead engaging and effective projects to deliver sustainability impact on farm.
- Work closely with our Data Scientist to activate one of the world’s largest climate databases for the benefit of the green transition, creating insights to be shared with farmers (primarily) and the wider community around us.
How will you be successful?
With your great practical and scientific background, you are eager to be part of developing the dairy industry together with our farmer owners, the stakeholders supporting farmers, and with your local and global Arla colleagues.
Moreover, you:
- Bring strong experience from R&D and project management.
- Have an agricultural scientific background and strong interest in sustainability and skills in biology linked to dairy farming
- You are curious about data and what it can be used for. Preferably you are interested in greenhouse gas calculations, but do not necessarily need to bring experience within the area
- You are strong in explaining and communicating about complex issues - agricultural science and data - in a simple and easy to understand format
- Have the ability and curiosity to work in a highly international environment
- Speak and write English effortlessly. Other languages can be an advantage.
What do we offer?
Join our dynamic team and thrive in an international atmosphere! We provide excellent staff benefits and opportunities for personal growth within the organization. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work and be part of a supportive and innovative workplace.
