Group Legal is responsible for the legal aspects of GN’s global business with a focus on securing smooth and commercially minded support to our operations. Our guidance covers all legal facets to ensure high standards and consistent operations, aligning with GN's strategic goals.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Reporting to the Lead Legal Counsel of the Legal IP, Brand Protection and Marketing team, you will assist primarily with legal matters within intellectual property, online brand enforcement, AI, and marketing law within Group Legal and across all GN business areas. You will work with your legal colleagues as well as colleagues across the global business. Moreover, you will have the possibility of supporting other legal areas, including corporate and commercial, data privacy, capital markets and M&A depending on our needs and your skills and interests.
As a part of a skilled and motivated team of lawyers, assistants and students, you will be expected to take ownership of and oversee a variety of tasks, which may be both legal and administrative in nature.
These may include:
- Supporting in IP infringements across the globe, namely through our online brand protection programme
- Supporting on review and drafting of various contracts such as NDAs and license agreements, Power of Attorneys and Authorisation letters
- Supporting on review of terms and conditions, e.g. for use of AI tools or similar
- Supporting in managing our global customs recordals and seizure notifications
- Supporting in trademark portfolio management and prosecution
- Supporting compliance measures with legal research on laws and regulations
- Supporting on various legal projects and tasks in Group Legal HQ
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
- Study in Denmark for a degree within law or business administration and commercial law (e.g. stud.jur or stud.HA.jur.), preferably in your 2nd or 3rd year.
- Have an interest in IP and Marketing law and its practical application in an international company
- Are outgoing and proactive
- Find satisfaction in accepting accountability, owning tasks, meeting deadlines, and transitioning with altering agendas
- Are organized and service-minded
- Possess a keen interest in and understanding of business needs
- Proficiency in English along with robust IT skills
- Are curious and willing to learn.
