Your New Role- Accelerate Your Career
Our project pipeline in Ireland is growing and we seek an experienced Greenfield Renewable Energy Project Manager to develop our greenfield pipeline of existing and new projects. You will be hands-on in technical, organizational, and commercial aspects and form a key part of the Irish team.
You will be responsible for developing solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS renewable energy projects in the Irish market to the ready-to-build (RTB) stage. After consent has been achieved, your role will encompass planning condition discharge, identifying project risks, and supporting our in-house EPC teams during the pre-construction and construction phases to ensure that projects are delivered.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in Irish-based renewable energy project development and be able to manage stakeholders, drive forward development activity, and successfully navigate the consenting phase. This will involve interaction with land, planning, environmental, and technical service providers, and management of interactions with stakeholders, as well as seeking out new opportunities in the Irish market.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Take the initiative to develop our Greenfield Renewable Energy projects in Ireland from an early stage through the investment decision and handover to the construction and operations team.
- Manage the permitting process on multiple projects and coordinate the team of involved internal and external providers and stakeholders.
- Develop project models & schedules, create budgets, and produce investment opportunity summaries.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues using clear communication and prioritization.
- Engage with various stakeholders and occasionally negotiate land agreements, leases, access, and cable easements.
- Originate new projects using market knowledge, in-house tools, and your network connectivity.
Your Profile
- You have a Bachelor´s in Engineering, Planning, Science, or Project Management.
- You have 3+ years of Irish renewable energy development experience including some/all; landowner interactions, planning permission development and evidence of success where possible, the Irish electricity grid, and management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are proactive and diligent, have a high work ethic, and can take initiative.
- You can balance quality in the context of time & cost pressure.
- You are currently a resident of Ireland and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You are familiar with MS Excel models, PowerPoint, and GIS and may have experience with other project management or renewable energy tools.
- You have a valid driving license.

Location: Flexible and remote but your 'home' location will preferably be close to Cork. Travel to project sites around Ireland will also form part of the role.
