In the job you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality, Health, Safety, Security, Sustainability and Environment (QHSSE) and Business Area Wind Procurement and Supplier Management Processes. The successful candidate will also support in developing and maintaining a standardised, quality management system in BA Wind.
You will report to the Operational Excellence Lead and be part of the Operational Standards team. This team is part of the People, Culture and Standards staff functions within Business Area Wind.
Main purpose of the position:
The Senior QHSSE Supplier Management Specialist is the owner of the BA wind process to manage quality, health & safety, environment, sustainability and security & resilience requirements within the supply chain. The purpose of the process is to enable the BA Wind ambition; World Class QHS, Frontrunner in Sustainability and a resilient organisation.

Your key responsibilities:
- Procurement
- Establish and manage the QHSE procurement support process
- Coordinating improvement initiatives across the QHSSE organisation
- Responsible for the QHSE procurement support platform
- QHSSE Procurement Point of Contact
- Supplier management
- Establish and manage QHSSE supplier management process
- Establish and manage Quality supplier management sub-process
- Coordinating improvement initiatives across the QHSSE organisation
- Quality management
- Support the compliance check for safety standards in incident reports
- Ensure correct incident case handling
- Follow-up and act upon assessment quality issues
- Performance reporting
- Establish and report on process performance indicators
- Support the implementation of supplier and contractor audit
- Training and Knowledge Transfer
- Organise training in QHSSE procurement process
- Continuous improvements
- Continuous assess and improve the managed processes
- Support the creation and implementation of incident handling process and standardise across BA Wind
- Support incident handlers and
- Lead performance reporting improvement initiatives
Your profile
Your profile
You will feel comfortable quickly in this position if you bring:
- Master degree in a relevant field such as Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, including procurement from a quality perspective
- Project Management skills are
- Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is seen as positive
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and other relevant standards and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and corporative mindset
- analytical skills and experience in data collection, analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of wind energy industry regulations and standards (preferred)
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
Location
The team is organised internationally; the colleagues are located across all our core operating countries in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, UK and Sweden. Therefore it is possible to join the team in our offices in Amsterdam, Kolding, Hamburg, Berlin, London or Stockholm.
