Technical business analyst

We are searching for a senior cloud business analyst.
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland, and you will join our OpenUI Platform team. The team is the key enabler of BEC’s journey of open collaboration in building Digital Channels of communication with our clients.
As a technical business analyst, you will be a part of securing a stable and mature platform, guiding and advising in onboarding new areas, modernizing existing ones and take part in BECs journey to a different collaboration model.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely
up to 8 days per month
. Your direct manager will be Sebastian Gos.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Clarify and align expectations and requirements in relation to the needs of our customers in collaboration with the product owner and our architects
- Drive projects including ongoing clarifications and coordination
- Communicating and aligning with both internal and external stakeholders at different levels
- On a daily basis you will be involved in improving our platform and compliance, engaging in dialogues with future users of the platform (both internal and external) and preparing work for upcoming quarter.
- Solutions design and sparing with solution owners and team/domain architects
- You will be working with the OpenUI platform team (covering a wide range of specialties like frontend technologies, native mobile apps development, DevOps specialists, team architects) as well as other stakeholders across BEC and our external vendor.
- You should expect to travel to Denmark 1-3 times per year.
- As we are working in an agile setup, you will be a part of our daily meetings, planning and refinement
To succeed you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or at least 3+ years of relevant work experience as a business analyst with project management experience
- Experience with communicating professionally with stakeholders at different levels
It’s nice-to-have:
- Experience in large scale client facing web and mobile applications
- Experience from the finance industry or similar controlled industries
- QA experience
- A desire to teach others within BEC on how to collaborate and coordinate when building applications.
