- We deliver tailored innovation frameworks, processes, and tools for our colleagues working with innovation in R&D. We ensure effective deployment through training, coaching, and networking.
- We establish a "single source of truth" for all portfolio and innovation-related (non-scientific) data, ensuring consistency and reliability. We ensure that technology and systems are in place, and we continually develop and push boundaries to make sure they remain fit for purpose and enable our organization to work as effectively as possible.
- We provide insightful, data-driven analyses and recommendations to support superior decision-making. We make sure that data is available to those who need it in a customer-friendly, clear and comprehensible manner.

You will interact with several stakeholders across the organization, such as R&D, Commercial Development, and Business Finance. Welcome to Innovation and Portfolio Excellence
You will join a dynamic and international team, consisting of 8 dedicated project and portfolio specialists and innovation coaches. We are a part of the Innovation Project and Portfolio Management area, which consists of 45+ people, all passionate about driving innovation in the organization. The team consists of several different nationalities and we work across different countries.
Location: Lyngby and Hørsholm.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting as a superuser of our PPM (project portfolio management) system (e.g. update system data, test new IT solutions, build guidelines to support users, internal customer support for our colleagues)
- Support on financial reports for our innovation project portfolios in PowerPoint and PowerBI to guide business decisions within and across Novonesis businesses.
- Support in designing and updating a user-friendly SharePoint site to ensure everyone working on innovation projects and portfolios can have easy access to clear information on how we run innovation projects.
- Planning training sessions and courses (e.g., schedule courses, invite participants & speakers, reserve meeting rooms & social event spaces, prepare training materials, etc.)
- Supporting our area with ad-hoc tasks
To succeed you must:
- Must speak and write English fluently.
- Must be a master/graduate student with more than 1.5 years left until graduation or be in the last year of your bachelor. Preferably a student in business, finance, engineering, or science.
- Have strong and proven data-analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work with data in Excel. Experience in PowerBI is a plus.
- Have strong coordination and structured & clear communication skills. Must be able to work in PowerPoint. Experience in building Sharepoint sites is a plus.
- Be proactive in solving problems and enjoy challenging yourself to learn new things.
- Be service minded and a good team player who is also able to work independently and take responsibility for key deliverables.
- Be flexible with work hours, but expect to work between 15-20 hours week (2-3 days a week). We are flexible with changed work hours during exam periods and with changing course schedules.
