The position
In Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) DK, LEAN is more than just a set of tools, it is a culture and a mindset that are continuously developed in our organisation.
As one of our new Department Lean Partners, you will report to a department manager and be a part of the department leadership team. You will be responsible for the lean initiatives in the department and for improving the lean maturity.
Your main tasks will be:
- Coaching of leaders in performance board meetings
- Facilitating problem-solving activities in the department
- Driving strategy deployment
- Implementing and improving of lean systems or tools to solve business challenges
- Facilitating process mapping activities (e.g. Value stream mapping)
- Moreover, you will be a part of a lean network across the business unit and will be involved in cross-organisational lean projects. Your lean colleagues will include Departments LEAN partners from other departments, as well as a centralized LEAN team with Lean partners and Specialists supporting across the business unit.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
- An academic degree in field such as Engineering, Business, or any other related area.
- A solid LEAN toolbox and proven track records of results within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a highly regulated environment
- Excellent change management and stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Hands-on experience in improving visual management and driving data driven decision making
- Fluency in English and the ability to communicate orally in Danish.
As an individual, you are positive, corporative and solution orientated, and you work systematically, logically, and proactive. You can interact and communicate at all levels of the organization, and you take pride in solving your tasks and challenges as close to the process with the close involvement of your key stakeholders.
On a personal level, you are a team player, but are not afraid of working independently when coaching and challenging leaders or collecting data in the production. You have experience with implementing optimisation projects and naturally involve and motivate your customers to achieve the business targets.
About the department
You will be part of the SVP area Emerging Technologies in Maalev and the department Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) DK, which is an area with 800+ employees, who is responsible for the market production of oral products such as tablets for diabetics and also hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to women in menopause.
SDF DK is part of the CVP area SDF Operations, which consists of both the site in Durham, US, and the site in Athlone, Ireland, all with a focus on manufacturing oral products.
