Lead Environmental Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll support the organisation globally with your environmental management expertise but also in complex HSE projects spanning across regions and technologies. You´ll develop and implement environmental policies, processes, and programmes. You´ll collaborate with teams to integrate environmental considerations into the business, monitor environmental performance, and identify areas for improvement to implement corrective actions.

You’ll be part of Safety, Environment, and Compliance where you, together with your colleagues, will provide support, set direction through the management system, and establish best practices in environment and QHSE compliance. You’ll play an important role in:

  • optimising, creating, and implementing environmental management processes and standards
  • leading safety, environment and compliance projects and initiatives.
  • engaging with colleagues worldwide to help them improve their environmental performance
  • providing environmental management subject matter expertise
  • ensuring company compliance by being up to date with environmental legislation and best practices.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive expertise in environmental management
  • have relevant environmental education
  • have good knowledge of environmental standards and legislation
  • have a bias towards action
  • are a self-starter
  • think strategically, but understand the business
  • have strong stakeholder management and communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
