We are an international team of strategists, analysts, technologists, salespeople, marketers and customer success professionals – and we are based in the middle of Copenhagen, at the iconic Magstræde.
Position
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to manage our financial operations and support the administrative functions essential for running a successful organization.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial reporting, combined with organizational skills to handle key administrative responsibilities.
You will be reporting to, and working closely with, the CEO, and be responsible for:
Financial Management:
- Bookkeeping & Compliance: Maintain bookkeeping in e-conomic, handle VAT reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Payroll & Salary Processing: Process payroll via Danløn, including statistics, holiday pay, pension contributions, and other payroll duties.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and internal reports on key metrics (e.g., MRR, profit margins, churn rates, cash flow).
- Budgeting: Lead annual and periodic budgeting with management to set financial goals.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming invoices, upload supplier batch payments to the banking system, and issue customer invoices.
- Banking & Insurance: Manage relationships with bank and insurance providers, ensuring all accounts are properly maintained.
- Year-End Accounting: Collaborate with external accountants at year-end for audit preparation.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
Business Administration:
- Staff Records & Policies: Manage employee records, contracts, onboarding procedures and updates to the employee handbook.
- Leave & Compliance Administration: Register staff vacations, manage employer obligations related to holidays, sickness, and parental leave, and handle reporting to Danish authorities as required.
- Office Oversight: Oversee administrative functions, including supervising the receptionist and maintaining an organized workplace.
