If so, we are looking for you for the role of FP&A Manager (senior), Financial Planning & Analysis, as part of VELUX Global Finance.
We offer
A unique opportunity where you will join the Group FP&A and Treasury team, which consists of 6-8 skilled and driven colleagues located at our head office in Hørsholm.
In this position, you will refer to the Senior Director, Group FP&A. The teams responsibility lies within Group financial planning, including yearly Group level target setting, development and reporting of KPIs, financial support on strategic initiatives as well as reporting of monthly financial performance to the VELUX Management Group.
Joining Global Finance, you will become part of a global organisation consisting of close to 200 employees – working to continuously optimise business performance across the VELUX Group through fact based support in proximity to the business.
Your responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the FP&A team is to ensure fact based management information and insights for decision making to the CFO and Executive Management .
Partnering up with various parts of the organisation, the FP&A team is responsible for tracking, assessing and reporting corporate performance to Executive Management and the Board.
Specifically, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes to align with VELUX’s goals and global financial strategy
- Prepare and present financial analyses, including variance analysis and trend insights, to aid in decision-making for senior management
- Collaborate with business leaders across departments to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth initiatives
- Identify areas for improvement within FP&A processes, driving enhancements in reporting accuracy, timeliness, and relevance
- Provide mentorship and support to finance team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused work environment
- Support strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial data, market trends, and economic conditions relevant to the building and construction industry
- Analyze and create monthly financial performance reporting for top management and our Board of Directors
- Act as a finance business partner on strategic projects across the VELUX Group including business case calculations
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to drive business outcomes
- Ad-hoc analysis requests from SVP, CFO or Executive Management.
Who we are looking for
An experienced and proven performer with a strategic mind-set and strong analytical capabilities, who thrives at the prospect of providing high-quality and value adding insights.
The ideal candidate will hold a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, business administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field combined with extensive experience in FP&A or similar finance roles, ideally within a global organization.
You possess a strong financial toolbox and are able to clearly link business strategy with performance management.
As a person, you are thorough and quality-conscious and possess business acumen and understanding. Similarly, stakeholder management comes naturally to you and you find the prospect of collaborating with stakeholders across different nationalities, seniorities and cultures intriguing.
Furthermore, you have:
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting tools
- Advanced proficiency in financial software, such as Excel and financial planning systems (e.g., BPC; Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly
- Strong business acumen – an understanding of the building industry or manufacturing sector is a plus, but not required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across global teams
- High level of integrity, dependability and commitment to VELUX’s values of quality, sustainability, and responsibility
- Good English proficiency level.
