Do you want to be a key member of the Design Development team within Global Product at Pandora’s Global headquarters in Copenhagen? As a Creative Sourcing Manager, you will work closely with the Design team by delivering new ideas of materials and techniques into the process that achieve the Creative Vision, Cost and Quality and which are aligned with our brand DNA. You will manage the sourcing and development process of your own projects, and be the main point of contact between the designers, the development teams and the suppliers with a demonstrated creative ability to translate the requirements of the business and execution of design brief into the sourcing process.
This encompasses a wide range of work including:
Sourcing
- Research and discovery of new materials and techniques.
- Work on existing Pandora collections with the Design team, exploring new incremental materials/techniques ideas in line with the brand’s DNA.
- Work directly with external suppliers (components/materials) to develop new products and ideas and ensure the suppliers are challenged with newness, quality and price.
- Ensure a smooth running sourcing process between Pandora’s internal and external suppliers and that all new materials/techniques sourcing and development are meeting the deadlines.
Development
- Close partnership with Design & Production teams to guide & manage materials development across specific collections.
- Own & manage product development meetings to align on status.
- Use in depth product knowledge to remove roadblocks and raise red flags on potential delays, cost, quality,production and legal issues throughout the development process.
- Manage proto and sample reviews with Creative Directors.
- Manage all edit requests post proto and sample reviews.
- Ensure development cycles run according to the timeline.
Cost & quality
- Make early call-outs on high-risk designs in terms of quality & cost – liaising on early testing / wear testing with quality team.
- Initiating and managing development of cost & quality alternatives, where necessary.
- Working closely with quality team to ensure all testing is carried out in a timely manner during the development cycle process.
Reporting & stakeholder management
- Accumulate, consolidate and generate critical information for key stakeholders in order to facilitate decision making.
- Create and manage updates on development status to management.
- Participate in Material Sourcing and Development meetings.
You might be the person we are looking for if you have strong skills in sourcing, development, production process, understanding of cost and executing on new materials and techniques within jewelry. You have a creative, collaborative working style with Designers and proposing new creative materials and techniques ideas as well as solutions is a strength of yours. Furthermore, you are proactive and organised in offering new ideas as well as removing obstacles.

At the same time, you excel in building relations at all levels of the organisation and across functions and you are comfortable working with international colleagues. Furthermore, you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product development and sourcing within jewellery industry or similar industry
- Strong Innovative and proactive mindset and strong understanding of the brand DNA.
- In depth specialized product knowledge within jewelry industry including manufacturing and working directly with Designers/Creative team. Experience with charms is an advantage.
- Experience with project management and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Detail oriented without losing the big picture
- Ability to consolidate complex information and deliver clear guidance - relevant to the stakeholder.
- Eye for visual design aesthetics, particularly in jewelry and visual presentations
- Experience with multiple cultures and specifically in manufacturing facilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, i.e. deliver structured and simple messages on presentations
- Proficiency in PLM system is a plus
- Speaks and writes English fluently – additional language incl. Danish, Thai, Italian are advantageous
