You will be part of the Risk Integration & Assurance team and support the operation of decision-making committees for Danske Bank’s Executive Leadership Team. You will lead a team of four people who cover various committees and support senior management. In this role, you will lead and develop the team and ensure good collaboration across the organization, ranging from The Executive Leadership Team and the Company Secretariat to subject matter specialists.
The Role
As the Head of Committee Office at Danske Bank, your role extends beyond overseeing a team of four dedicated specialists; you are a catalyst for their growth and a visionary setting new heights for our committee secretariat standards. This position demands strategic acumen and a keen ability to ensure seamless operations across various committees within the bank.
- Guide and enhance the professional development of a team committed to bolstering Danske Bank's committee frameworks.
- Craft and implement strategic objectives for the Committee Office, upholding excellence in committee secretariat functions.
- Act as the primary liaison for all committee-related inquiries, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the Company Secretariat.
- Oversee the detailed administration of committee meetings, from preparing and distributing materials to documenting agendas and decisions.
Who are we looking for?
Danske Bank seeks a strategic leader with a substantial background in a major Danish bank, ideally versed in risk management or committee facilitation. The ideal candidate excels in dynamic, high-stakes environments and demonstrates great strategic and communicative skills across all organizational levels.
- A previous experience with managing and cultivating a team of professionals, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess.
- Established capability in establishing and sustaining solid relationships with stakeholders, including senior managers and executives.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and Danish corporate law, paired with a strategic commercial outlook.
- Great communication abilities, fluent in both English and a Scandinavian language, ensuring clear and precise exchanges.
Success Factors:
- Proficiency in planning, facilitating, and documenting high-level meetings, notably with Danske Bank’s Executive Leadership Team.
- Expertise in managing projects and processes aligned with the executive agenda.
