Contract B2B, Salary Range: 21 840 - 30 240 net/month (130 - 180 net/hr.)

About the job:

The successful candidate will work in an international team of SAP functional and technical consultants on the further development of an SAP solution for one of our big customers from the public sector in Denmark.

Your role will be a central role in our team, where you will work closely together with our SAP Release Manager, two maintenance teams, and the on-going projects. You will advise and assist colleagues and clients with their challenges, and you will be a key person in getting new features/projects ordered by the customer into production.

Our tasks range from small advisory tasks to big projects, and you will be involved in both minor tasks and large projects.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Release Manager, who is ambitious, structured, methodical, persistent, and dedicated to tasks and responsibilities. You collaborate well, communicate effectively, have strong empathy, and are decisive with a solid impact. You understand the importance of building relationships and achieving results internally and externally through collaboration.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistency within a dual landscape setup by making sure that object corrections/changes across the landscape are not overwritten or forgotten.
• Ensure that the content of objects in transport released for production is transferred to the project string, considering the ongoing development of the project string.
• Ensure that the basis for initiating changes to the project string is always as close as possible to the production string. Objects corrected in the production string that has not been selected for correction on the project string should be transferred to the project string as soon as possible to keep the technical basis between the two systems as identical as possible.
• Ensure that the merging of corrections from the production string to the project string is done in a timely manner and with minimal risk to progress on the project string. This includes ensuring that relevant consultants/developers are involved so that corrections are merged correctly into objects on the project string.
• Maintain an overview of ongoing corrections and technical objects involved in both the production string and project string, including tracking the progress of object corrections in relation to going live.
• Resolve technical object conflicts in cooperation with maintenance and project teams.
• Advise projects and maintenance on appropriate behavior and tool use in a dual landscape setup.
• Configure, service, and troubleshoot in relation to used support tools.
• Ensure coherence in the documentation of transports in ZRELMGMT.
• Prepare a technical playbook for project cutover, which minimizes the risk of overwriting/downgrade situations when implementing project cutover.
• Handle special situations by involving the right experts and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
• Provide advice that is independent of project interests.
• Offer advice and sparring on the handling of authorizations and their transport between environments.

Personal Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years working as an SAP Technical Release Manager
• Experience with an SAP dual landscape set-up
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager
• Deep insights into the SAP Transport Management tools, and hands-on experience
• Worked with quality assurance methods and tools across to Transport and Release Management area
• Experience with implementing governance strategies
• Experience managing and coordinating both large and small projects
• Workshop facilitator skills
• You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP Quality assurance and test optimization
• Must be fluent in both Polish and English

In addition, you:

• Have experience with the SAP retro-fit tool
• Solid knowledge of ABAP
