The role
You will be part of the Central Performance Marketing team responsible for lower funnel marketing cross all Viaplay markets. As a SEO specialist you will be responsible for our organic search presence, ranking and traffic to site. You will focus on optimizing conversion flows and conversion rates. Your key objective is to increase relevant traffic and drive incremental sales. You thrive as a collaborator, working alongside specialists and stakeholders to maximize performance with a data driven and business-oriented mindset.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies for subscriber acquisition
- Optimize website for improved conversion rate and organic search visibility
- Proactive keyword research and analysis
- Work with technical SEO, including page speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability and indexing
- Optimize metadata, structured data, internal linking and URL structures
- Conduct CRO A/B tests to optimize landing pages in close collaboration with Product & Tech teams
- Monitor and analyze SEO & CRO performance KPIs and metrics, providing actionable insights
- Work close with Performance Marketing team ensuring landing pages are optimized for paid ads and campaigns
- Collaborate with local marketing, content and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment between all relevant business areas
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience and customer journey through user behavior analysis
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar
- 5+ years work experience within SEO/CRO
- Experience in SEO strategy, development and execution, preferably in a subscription-based or e-commerce environment
- Strong knowledge with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and CRO platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize)
- Strong understanding of CRO best practices around UX, design and testing
- Strong knowledge working with CMS tool, bonus if you know Sanity
- Knowledge in GA4 and web analytics
- A team player with a solution-oriented mindset
- Communication and writing skills in English
