Play your part in our team succeeding
Join our fully Copenhagen based Order Orchestration team. Our product is a key player in the ambition of modernizing how we handle orders in The LEGO Group. We are working 3 days per week from the office.

Our vision is to be the single source of truth of all orders, where we can quickly handle orders, and give real time information about them, which enables other products in our event driven architecture.

Engineers on our team help scale the event driven architecture that we have today, to consume orders from the organization and communicate them further, while always keeping track of everything that happened on an order.

Our department typically relies on the following tools, languages and technologies (all in a backend context): Typescript, Node.js, Serverless, AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Kinesis etc).

We collaborate with many teams to align, co-create, and support them. This means that we communicate daily outside/inside of the team. We work as a team, we divide and conquer, and bringing information and transparency back into the team is key.

Our typical day would start with a good chat over coffee, followed by our daily and the rest is up to engineering. We strive to be one team, helping and supporting each other to achieve phenomenal things, together.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Building scalable backend services on AWS using TypeScript, Node.js, Serverless technologies (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • A degree or equivalent experience in technology or software engineering.
  • You are experienced at or have knowledge of building distributed systems in the cloud at scale, event driven principles and the technology stack that we are using.
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows (we are using GitHub actions), and an advocate for automation.
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator and you love building products as part of a team.
  • Sharing your skills while being inclusive to others matters to you.
  • You are a problem solver who looks at how to craft the best solution. You love a technical challenge and filling in the dots to ensure that all requirements are understood and then delivered.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills
  • You are brave, curious, creative
