Senior Lead Commercial Manager in Ørsted's business area for offshore gas transport

Join us in this role where you’ll lead negotiations with major international partners, while maintaining and developing Ørsted's commercial gas pipeline assets. You will contribute to business development and play a vital role in preparing business cases. You will be working closely with our legal department to ensure commercial robustness in complex collaboration agreements. We expect you to present complex cases at management level as well as being responsible for budgeting and strategy.
Welcome to Infrastructure Assets You’ll be part of the Commercial team where you, together with your colleagues, will drive a transformation from a declining gas business to future new attractive business compliant with company vision. You will need to apply new and unique approaches across departments outside of Infrastructure Assets to succeed. You will also lead a cost review program with focus on safety, asset integrity and employee support. Finally, you should build an effective team to support talent development and act as coach/mentor for other professionals. You’ll play an important role in:
· influencing the strategic commercial direction of the Infrastructure Assets organization
· negotiating with partners in the North Sea, which are major oil/gas companies and partners on land
· commercialization of new business opportunities, e.g. CO2 transportation while at the same time never lose sight of day-to-day business
· driving business development together with our legal department based on regulatory framework with a strong attention to detail and perseverance
· collaborating internally with colleagues in our gas trading division to handle the interaction between the physical gas transport and typically gas purchase agreements with the North Sea's partners.
To succeed in the role, you:
· are an experienced negotiator and preferably in complex areas
· possess technical understanding and preferably (not a requirement) in the oil/gas area
· have legal understanding and/or regulatory competences and an ambition to optimize commercial outcome whilst remaining compliant
· maintain overview of complex relationships and hold excellent stakeholder management competences
· you excel in cross-functional collaboration, effective communication skills and are experienced in change management
· have a positive and motivational mindset and speak/write both Danish and English.
