We have a strong pipeline of national and international marine projects focused on making the marine world future-fit. Currently, we are leading several major port projects across Europe and overseas, ensuring the green energy transition and advancing blue infrastructure.

Our team is well-balanced with senior experts, project managers, specialists, and recent graduates. You will receive a warm welcome from co-workers passionate about their field of expertise. Knowledge sharing and open-minded collaboration across all levels within the department and across the organization are part of our DNA, enabling us to deliver innovative yet efficient solutions to high-quality standards. Your future colleagues have extensive experience in both national and international port, marine, and coastal projects. • Drive the development and innovation of our structural skill set as a team effort
  • Manage marine projects
  • Grow and maintain excellent client relations
  • Ensure the highest level of quality in our deliverables
  • Promote our capabilities in the market
  • Co-create closely with clients and stakeholders, focusing on value creation
  • Act as a role model for our younger team members

Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development as you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point includes:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)
  • Preferably 10+ years of proven experience in the design of marine structures, such as quays, jetties, berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins, etc.
  • Knowledge of port equipment, mooring systems, and navigation
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodologies
  • Experience with complex multidisciplinary marine projects, such as ports, flood defenses, artificial islands, or immersed tunnels
  • Excellent communication skills—professional-level English is required; Danish is highly appreciated, and any additional language skills are a plus
  • Comfort in a dynamic work environment with multiple stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to sustainability and an active interest in exploring and applying green solutions

Your skill set is respected in the market, and you have built up a valuable network, enabling you to understand clients' needs and market trends.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include an open mindset and the ability to work both independently and as a team player. You are a confident communicator who enjoys pushing innovation and technical excellence to the next level, as well as motivating and mentoring younger engineers, guiding them on their marine engineering journey.
