Who we’re looking for
Today, the Aftermarket Services department of Topsoe is embarking on a new and exciting adventure. We are calling out to bright minds, intrapreneurs and other problem solvers, to prepare the arrival of our latest technologies on the market.
At the core of this mission is the Operational Readiness Senior Manager. As part of the Operations and Maintenance team, you will be in charge to develop and execute the end-to-end process of readiness of the Aftermarket team, to deliver the Service Agreements as committed to our Customers. Your mission is clear: from the day of Commissioning, the Plant (H2, Ammonia, Methanol or other) performance must be optimal. And you will make sure that both Topsoe and the Customer are ready for this.
You will lead a cross-functional team, collaborating with our Suppliers, Commercial, R&D, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to manage all constraints (technical, time-related etc) and ensure, from contract signature to Start of Operations on-site, that the Aftermarket organization has everything in place to deliver the highest standards of execution (Safety, Production levels, etc) from the first day of the contract. Typical elements of this process, managed jointly with our Customers, include O&M Strategy, HSE, Supply Chain, Reliability, Training, Maintenance, Organization, Interaction Processes, Third party & Suppliers’ Agreements, etc.
You will define the roadmap towards Start of Operations, drumbeat all actions and identify, escalate, and manage risks as they arise, with a focus on continuous improvement and overall refinement over time.
What you’ll bring
You have at least 5-10 years of experience in Project Development, Plant Management and/or Operations & Maintenance, EPCM or Commissioning of chemical/process plants.
Besides this you typically have a degree in Engineering, or equivalent through experience and have managed large scale projects linked to establishment of plants in the chemical/process industry (development, expansion etc.).
You have an excellent command of English and can handle technical discussions one day, and report meaningfully to top management the next. Your way of working is structured with an entrepreneurial mindset and very strong interpersonal skills.
Why join us
Joining Topsoe Power-to-X Aftermarket, you will have the chance to have a clear impact on a booming organization which aims at leading decarbonization across hard-to-abate sectors.
You will work in a multi-cultural environment, where your expertise will be recognized and leveraged on.
The possibilities for development are as wide as you could imagine and could lead you to specialize in a particular field, relocate to our customer facilities, or grow in different functions within the Aftermarket Services team.
