Who we’re looking for
If you are an experienced Social Media Manager passionate about engaging audiences through compelling, creative, and brand building content and if you have a strong interest in sustainability and the energy transition, you might be who we are looking for. Our Social Media Manager is going on maternity leave, and we are looking for a new colleague to continue developing our digital channels in her absence.

At Topsoe, we possess both the expertise and the technologies needed to transform renewable electricity, biomass, and waste into low-carbon fuels and chemicals that will power a sustainable future. Over the past few years, we have solidly built our brand awareness with social media as one of our key anchor points. As our Social Media Manager, you’ll play a major role in continuing to position Topsoe through our digital channels.

Specifically, you will:

  • Identify, plan, and create various content in close collaboration with stakeholders, this include maintaining our social media editorial calendar
  • Drive community management and increase engagement on corporate social media by testing new trends, formats, and running paid campaigns etc.
  • Advise and support C-suite executives on their social media profiles
  • Work with agencies and inhouse creatives on day-to-day tasks and larger campaigns
  • Monitor social trends, breaking news, and influencer activities for opportunities to engage with the Topsoe brand and respond to community interactions important to Topsoe
  • Employ social media metric reports and social listening data to inform data-driven social strategies and tactics and deliver ongoing recommendations to the team to enhance our social media presence
  • Engage with influential energy and climate journalists and organizations active on social media to support ongoing media and public affairs efforts
  • Provide support for paid social, SEO, and website content.

What you’ll bring
We hope you’ll bring a lot of good energy and an open mind. You’re a solver and a do’er, with a good sense for strategic direction and a can-do attitude.

You have a high level of professional pride and ambitions for your own work, and the work we do as a team.

You find it natural to network and team up with colleagues across the organization and have an interest in societal matters.

You probably have a degree in communication, social sciences, journalism, or the like and a proven track record working with digital communication and social media in a fast-paced environment.
This includes a thorough understanding of the social media landscape, best practices, benchmarks, and audiences. And an interest in social listening and data performance optimization.
Experience with social media publishing tools, for example Sprinklr or HubSpot, is a must. Also, excellent messaging and storytelling skills to create engaging content for our audiences. If you have basic photo and video editing skills, it’s a plus.

As we are a global company, we need to have excellent English writing skills.

Why join us
We can offer an ambitious, yet informal work environment with passionate and engaged colleagues who take pride in what they do and team up to go solve. Also, a company culture defined by a strong purpose and a mission to help reduce emissions to fight climate change.

All over Topsoe, there is a strong sense of obligation, as we know, that our work matters for the wider good. Not just for us, but for the world. And in the Global Communications team we are right in the center of it all.

Global Communications is part of Global Communications & Brand. Your workplace will be in our HQ in Lyngby. To hear more about the position, reach out to Corporate Communications Director, Tine Louise Holmer, [email protected], +45 3164 6774.
