Project & Technical Sales Engineer for Onshore Service

If yes, perhaps our new role as Project & Technical Sales Engineer is for you. In this role, you will act as a key support to our sales department and execution teams for onshore service projects. The position is located in Brøndby, close to Copenhagen.

You collaborate and provide technical expertise
In this role, you will provide front-line support for technical inquiries from our customers, and you will act as our internal expert who can support inquiries to complete projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling technical inquiries and in certain cases providing offers to our customers in collaboration with the sales force
• Supporting project stakeholders from defining technical solutions to execution
• Representing the NKT Service business line internally and externally with expert knowledge

You will gather and analyze required technical data, optimize offers and execution from a technical perspective, and provide input for subcontractor work at service sites.

Travel within Europe may be required (10-20 days a year).

Knowledgeable professional with considerable experience in the engineering field
Ideally, you come with a Master's degree or equivalent substantial relevant experience. You should have at least 10 years of work experience in a technical environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical role.

Key skills include:

• Ability to read complex technical drawings
• Experience in fatigue/stress-strain mechanics
• Demonstrable experience in the field of applied physics, particularly relating to the mechanics of hydraulic systems
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and engineering software applications (like CYMCAP and MathCAD)
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
