Your new team
The role is a part of a small but mighty Information Security team with a wide reach across the group. The team and this role are located in headquarters in Søborg, where we sit as a part of the greater IT organization. We are beginning to build a presence beyond headquarters to ensure the Information Security Management System is useful across our global operations.
Your new role
As our new Security and GRC Specialist you will play a significant role in establishing the Group Information Security function in European Energy. You will also strengthen and speed up the implementation of NIS2 requirements, such as Information Security Management System, security risk management and Internal security audits.
We have some exciting Power-to-X and battery projects in the pipeline, which create interesting security and compliance implementation tasks for the InfoSec team.
The role comes with the possibility of taking on a lot of responsibility and driving varying complex tasks, long-term issues & projects on your own. You will also have the opportunity to make a significant mark on the architecture and implementation of our new ISMS system and core security functions.
You will be reporting to the Head of Information Security and the role will allow for a great deal of autonomy in both responsibilities and projects.
In a typical day you will
- identify and propose improvement projects through gap assessments and internal audits.
- support the business by registering and managing events with risk owners, creating an overview of risks and security controls and enabling reporting to executive management and board.
- be the primary contact person for OT teams and suppliers, support risk assessments, and advise on how to ensure OT solutions are compliant with regulations and industry security standards.
- support efforts on maturing our Supply chain security controls and program.
- provide guidance and training to colleagues and business units on cyber security compliance requirements.
- keep your skills and knowledge up to date to ensure our solutions and advice stay relevant.
To thrive in this position, we imagine that you
- have 5+ years of experience from a similar role within Information Security/Governance, Risk or Compliance.
- hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. IT, OT, Engineering, Cand.Merc.IT, Cand.Merc.AUD, Risk management, Ha.Dat) have equivalent, documented practical experience.
- have Experience with OT Security and solid experience applying IEC 62443 in practice.
- are experienced with internal auditing (against standards such as e.g. ISO 27001; CIS18; NIST).
- are familiar with industry standard risk assessment methodologies and have practical experience applying such, e.g. using risk management tools or excel-based solutions.
- have experience from the Renewable Energy or similar sector, where OT is a key part of the business.
- have full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Danish and German are an advantage.
If you already have experience from the Renewable Energy or similar sector, where OT is a key part of the business, that would be a big plus.
As a person, you have strong stakeholder management skills, as the daily tasks involve cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration. You enjoy being a boundary spanner and working with other teams and external business partners to succeed in advancing compliance and security maturity for the group.
