We are now looking for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer FOU to help interact with clients to ensure alignment on the technical deliverables and engage with subcontractors for quotations as needed.
What will you do?
As our new Senior Technical Sales Engineer FOU, you will lead the evaluation of technical content, cost drivers, risk and opportunity factors within tenders, providing strategic input for technical solutions within the set time and budgetary requirements.
Your main tasks include:
- Validation and development of new engineering solutions applicable for tenders, with support from in house specialists and subcontractors
- Delivery of optimized key engineering documentation, incl. deck layout, lifting check and stability condition, which is tailored for the given context, given the tender content, and internal alignment with the Technical Sales Manager and the Tender Manager.
- Build the vessel program and perform weather downtime calculations, based on the operational limits of the vessel, incl. Interpretation and optimization of the vessel operability parameters together with other engineering departments within Cadeler.
- Prepare timely and competitive cost estimates for technical solutions, soliciting quotations from subcontractors and coordinating with internal experts to evaluate the reusability of equipment and tools.
- Lead the development of advanced technical templates, tools, and methodologies to streamline future tendering processes.
- Act as a key communicator with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Project Engineering, HSEQ, Clients, and Suppliers) to gather comprehensive data and ensure technically compliant tender submissions.
- Represent the company at national and international exhibitions and conferences as necessary.

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and the ability to mentor junior team members, who is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
We think you will be a good match if you have:
- A BSc or MSc in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within the Wind or Offshore Sector, with proven expertise in technical sales and tender processes or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Project).
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D or similar drafting software.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
