PEAK Wind is looking for a Lead Consultant / Team Lead for the Modelling & Methods Team within the Operations Economics & Analytics practice, to join our international team and provide advisory for clients in some of the largest renewable infrastructure investments globally.

Job Content, Responsibilities, and Possibilities
Based in one of our offices in Europe, you will work in an ambitious and dedicated practice group of mixed seniorities and nationalities that hold financial, technical, and commercial competencies, all of which combine interdisciplinary teamwork. Here you will lead the Modelling & Method team and report to the head of Operations Economics & Analytics practice group, part of Generation Consulting arm of PEAK Wind. The team is responsible for the development of analytical and optimization solutions, tools and services to serve the Operations Economics & Analytics practice and the wider PEAK Wind organization, involved in delivering value for energy assets on behalf of clients in Europe, APAC, and North America.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility will be:

  • Lead our Modelling & Methods team and implement the strategic development roadmap in close collaboration with other teams of the Operations Economics and Analytics practice
  • Define, prioritize, plan and manage key development workstreams
  • Grow and maintain strategic connection with academia and research institutes
  • Lead the delivery of advisory work for clients and projects worldwide
  • Ensure quality and continuous improvement of the products and services portfolio of the team (see team’s page Advanced Programs - PEAK Wind)

What you Bring and your Qualities

  • You have technical or scientific educational background (e.g. engineering, math, physics)
  • You possibly hold a PhD and relevant scientific publications portfolio, and you have a relevant academic network.
  • You have relevant working experience (at least 6-7 years after MSc or 3-4 years after PhD) in academia, research institutes, corporate R&D, where you have gained experience in leading some of the above-mentioned tasks and possibly small delivery or functional teams.
  • Previous track record in e.g. floating wind dynamics analysis, hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, control, condition monitoring and experimental campaign is a key advantage.
  • You thrive working in a collaborative and multicultural environment and value the benefits of working alongside colleagues
  • You have strong communication skills and solid experience using the MS Office suite
  • You are highly skilled in working with MS Excel, and coding languages (Python)
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
