The Position
As a Senior Project Manager for Engineering and Facility you will have the overall responsibility for the Novo Nordisk side of the design and construction. This includes leading and executing the full construction from design to finish in close collaboration with our external engineering and construction partners and a team of professional Novo Nordisk leaders, specialists, and users.
Your main tasks will include:
- Leading design, construction and execution of the Engineering and Facility in close cooperation with, and oversight of the engineering and construction partners.
- Driving construction management and execution, including HSE and ensuring the setting of safety goals and that they are executed.
- Ensuring the development and setting of environmental & sustainability goals and that they are executed.
- Responsible for 3D/BIM digital strategy and execution.
- Driving and leading project management and project execution.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, ideally you have the following:
- Significant experience from driving construction projects of large-scale facilities from beginning to end.
- You are skilled at managing complex projects with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You can understand the impact of company strategies, as well as participate in pro-actively and efficiently implementing these into all areas of the project.
- You provide clear goals and purpose for the entire facility area and the project team members, so that the project secures effective use of time and resources and builds employee motivation.
- You have demonstrated that you can shape and execute on a strategy in a complex environment.
As a person you embrace new ideas and changes and are not afraid to take lead and bring new solutions, processes, and improvements forward. You are a skilled communicator, and you find it natural to establish new relationships across teams and departments. Finally, you have a quality mindset and a sharp eye for detail that you apply when needed.
About the Department
The project organisation is organised in the Fill & Finish Expansions unit and consists of a PVP (Project Vice President) responsible for a portfolio of projects, planned with dedicated Project Directors managing a specific project. You will have direct report to the Project Director and you will be part of the Project Leadership Team.
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a clear global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
