Do you have an interest in working with computers and technology? Are you person who can communicate and support stakeholders in a clear and constructive way? Then we have the position for you! Vestas is looking for an Operator to our Operations Centre team in Esbjerg!

Service > Global Service Operations > Offshore Operations Center
Our offshore Remote Operations Centre, located in Esbjerg, Denmark, is the cornerstone of technical support for the Vestas offshore WTG fleet. As the first line of response, we serve as the primary contact for our offshore service teams in the field. Operating 24/7/365, you'll join a committed team of seven colleagues, working individually on 8-hour shifts as part of a rotation. Your responsibilities will include remotely monitoring offshore WTGs, troubleshooting breakdowns, and notifying stakeholders when issues cannot be resolved remotely. Responsibilities

  • Remote monitoring of offshore WTGs
  • Support reactive operation
  • Support field operations
  • Support SCADA team
  • Coordinate execution of ad-hoc requests - Stop/Start and yawing WTGs
  • Initiate reporting towards site
  • Assist in compiling fault reports

Qualifications

  • A degree in a related technical field - electrical, mechanical, electronics, computer science, marine engineering etc
  • Relevant field experience - onshore/offshore - with Vestas platforms including V80, V90, V112, V117, V164, and V174, preferably in a service- or commissioning role is equally beneficial as an degree
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT
  • Language Proficiency: Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Willingness to work during afternoon and night shifts

  • Great communication skills, enabling clear and concise conveyance of technical information
  • Dedication to teamwork, dependability, and flexibility to accommodate varying shifts
  • Proficient in managing stakeholders across different organizational levels

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Esbjerg, Denmark.

You should expect some travel activity, approximately 10 days per year. Additionally, we offer compensation for late and night shifts.
