Danske Bank has defined its Forward ’28 strategy to lay the tracks for a profitable growth journey in the years ahead. You will play a pivotal role in bringing the updated strategy for Personal Customers from plan to action – by connecting strategy to digital development and ensuring alignment and traction in the execution.

The Strategy Execution Team is the department driving the execution of the Forward ’28 strategy in Personal Customers. The Strategy Execution Team focuses on i) orchestrating design, delivery and implementation of the execution initiative portfolio, ii) ensuring clear decision making, consistent prioritization and management of dependencies and risks and iii) ensuring ongoing alignment with other business units and group functions.
In Strategy Execution you will join the Execution Planning & Strategy Alignment team who works together to translate Forward ’28 into actionable plans through:
- Execution roadmap and strategy blueprint alignment: Close collaboration with stakeholders to craft an execution roadmap incl. setting clear ambitions and directions as the basis for prioritization of change initiatives while at the same time ensuring that all execution initiatives align with our strategy blueprint.
- Agile governance support: Ensuring that digital development aligns seamlessly with strategic needs and that deliveries are consistent with overall execution roadmap. Supporting leadership in driving agile governance processes, including yearly and quarterly planning for the tribes within the Personal Customers domain.
In this role you will collaborate closely with the Forward ’28 Programme Management Office (PMO) and Strategy Execution Program Managers, as well as with other entities in the group that are following up on strategy execution.
Some examples of work tasks could include:
- Develop narrative and set ambitions for overarching execution roadmap
- Facilitate master planning sessions to agree on execution priorities for next period
- Formulate digital development themes together with tribes - including setting strategic directions, ensuring consistency with overarching execution roadmap and aligning with business owners
- Support theme prioritization in Personal Customer domain – matching requested capacity with available capacity and budgets in tribes
- Create transparency on digital development traction and follow-up on realization of key digital development outcomes during the year
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a strategy consultant with a strong commercial and business understanding, a can-do attitude and the willingness to learn. Further, we expect that you have a planning- and project execution toolbox while also having an affinity for digital development. You have a great drive to connect with stakeholders and are considered a self-starter. You will be responsible for your own assignments, and we trust that you drive and manage tasks to deliver great results.
Your background:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field like economics/business, IT or law
- Experience in business development, strategy execution and/or consultancy with at least 3+ years of experience
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative analysis into tangible recommendations
- Structured approach, ability to take ownership and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
- Excellent skills within story telling and the use of PowerPoint for different purposes
- Affinity with digital and able to translate commercial strategies into implications for digital development
- Have an interest in digital and agile ways of working
- Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and precisely – both written and spoken
- Seeking continuously feedback and challenging existing ideas to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers
