Student worker position for mobile manipulator, robot control and VR visualization

SDU Robotics is looking for 2 (Master or Bachelor) student workers in 2025. Primary tasks would be to develop a mobile manipulator (a mobile robot with a robot arm on top of it) which is able to physically interact with a human operator and render well-designed interaction tasks visualized by a VR headset.

The ideal candidates would:

• have good experience with programming (C++ and Python)
• have experience with ROS and Gazebo (or Mujoco)
• have experience with fundamental robot control
• have experience with (or interest in) robot learning methods
• are on the way to getting a (Bachelor or Master) degree in engineering (any flavor) or in similar fields at SDU
• have a can-do attitude
