In that context, for our Hellerup office, we are looking for a SMB Commercial Associate to expand the current team.
The SMB Commercial Associate for small & medium FMCG Businesses is a key role in NIQ’s growth strategy. Focused on accelerating organic growth, the NBD generates short-cycle revenue opportunities by contacting leads & prospects, growing business within the own client portfolio and contribute in the longer-cycle revenue processes to win the key prospects not working with NIQ for their insights based on trended sales data.
Responsibilities
- Own, meet and ‘smash’ the individual revenue target (Forecast and report out of targets and budgets).
- Target new clients via different channels and grow the business within the existing client portfolio assigned with our core retail measurement service, prioritize client visits based on sales potential and build a sustainable external network.
- Identify upselling opportunities
- Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysis; including and pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing the sale.
- Monitor progress against revenue target with tenacity and course correct quickly where necessary by making maximum use of the available CRM tools
- Utilize with creativity the tools available within the wider organization to generate leads and build your internal network
- Develop pragmatic engagement plans for the key prospects & clients in your portfolio
- Ensure that all sales materials, including proposals, software- & service demos are consistent and demonstrate best in class within the industry.
- Initiate & Drive projects to bring new product /market combination successfully to the market
- Work with other NIQ departments to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Develop valuable business issue analyses and category presentations to increase the understanding of NIQ data and insights amongst our Small and Medium sized clients
- Participate actively in building a positive and engaging team culture
The role is based in our Hellerup office. You will report to the Nordics Head of SMB, and will be part of a team of ten people.

Qualifications
- Good understanding of the dynamics of the FMCG business
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably gained in Market Research and or FMCG Trade/Category management
- Familiar with the specs and usage of retail tracking business services within the market
- Skillful in driving client interest and new business through creative proposal- and solution creation resulting in high client satisfaction level.
- Easy connecting with (potential) clients and ability to build and maintain own network among assigned clients & prospects
- Both short-term and long-term results oriented
- Excellent communication skills, ability to read other’s styles and adapt behavior accordingly.
- Fluent in Danish and Business English Strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written.
- We expect you to already have experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics and experience with NIQ data is a clear advantage.
