The position
In this position you will be a part of the area API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). You will play an important role as a Environment and Energy partner and an adviser on requirements and standards.
As a CVP (Corporate Vice President) Environment and Energy Partner for our area, you will work across the area and report to the director of API, Manufacturing 4, Business Support. You will be the key player in driving and supporting the area on many different tasks, such as:
- Legal compliance and authority inspections
- Comply with ISO14001 and ISO50001 management standards, including management reviews and internal/external audits
- Support management group on energy and environmental matters, and management presentations and training within Environment and Energy
- Initiatives to support the environmental strategy and ensure trustworthy forecasts
- Environment and Energy assessment of changes and new projects included planning of needed actions, and ESG reporting, including data to Novo Nordisk Annual Report and internal ESG audits
You will also be a strong support for other employee handling tasks within environment and energy in the area and be an active team player in PS API across environmental organization
As CVP Partner you will be the Environment and Energy resource for the CVP of API, M4.
Joining our area means stepping into a role where you will play a vital part in defining further development of API, M4, and API, M4 Business Support.
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
- A Masters’s degree in environmental management or other relevant education
- 3-5 years of experience from a similar position is an advantage
- Familiarity with Danish environmental legislation and the ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards
- Fluent in spoken and written Danish and English
In addition to this, we are looking for someone with strong stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels while driving agendas in an independent fashion. We also expect the candidate to be a skilled presenter and communicator and capable of making effective decision recommendations
On a personal level, you present a “can-do” approach and a result-oriented attitude, which enables you to establish strong professional relations internally and externally. You are a Team player with an international mindset and enjoy being part of a global work environment. You can communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively, and you have the ability to deliver high quality under pressure. You can work independently as well as in a team environment, and you can set the direction when needed and manage changes in processes.
Most importantly, you are flexible, eager to take up new tasks and projects.
About the department
API Manufacturing 4 is part of API. At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We bring value to our patients by providing the cleanest possible high-quality API made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) while constantly optimizing our processes.
You will be part of API, M4 Business Support, where the job is located, and you will cover the entire area.
