It is a fixed term contract for 12-15 Months in Global Drug Discovery (GDD), part of Research and Early Development (R&ED), in NN Måløv.

The position
As Scientific Communication Partner you will:

  • Drive communication tasks supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GDD and the line of business by transforming scientific research into engaging narratives and presentations for global audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Integrate scientific insights with strategic business content to prepare news articles, presentations, social media posts, and other types of communications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders, including the SVP, to navigate a dynamic environment with multiple agendas, ensuring the delivery of innovative and compliant scientific messaging.
  • Connect basic and clinical research data, disease understanding, and unmet medical needs to craft compelling stories and presentations.
  • Create visually appealing content tailored to diverse audiences, including Novo Nordisk employees, scientists, media, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role, we need you to have:

  • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Subject matter expertise in biology and scientific communication.
  • Proven ability to transform complex scientific data into compelling narratives and presentations.
  • Experience in leading innovative communication initiatives, such as science news writing, editing, visual content creation, communication strategies, and engaging scientific presentations.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for effective communication.

We are seeking someone who demonstrates strong attention to detail, creativity, and a proactive "can-do" attitude. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams is important, as are outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English.

About the department
We are a staff function called GDD Strategic Development & Digital, supporting the GDD Leadership Team and line of business with communication, digital transformation, project management, business support and compliance. As Scientific Communication Partner this includes supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) and the GDD leadership team as well as the entire GDD organisation with science-related and general communication internally as well as externally.

You will join a team that takes pride in delivering communication of high quality often in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. We work in a very dynamic environment, where tasks often have tight deadlines. You will also be a part of our GDD global communications network, the R&ED communications network and not at least a global network of communicators across Novo Nordisk.
