As our new Global Strategic Purchaser, you will play a pivotal role in driving assigned purchase areas and categories within direct and indirect areas and capex investments. Together with key stakeholders your role is to create and drive global and cross functional purchase strategies. This includes implementing cost-out activities with targets, priorities, and project plans, supporting Hamlets group strategy and business targets.

The area of responsibility will cover Hamlets two production sites in Horsens (DK) and Ohio (US). The position will be reporting to the Head of Global Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial responsible for assigned categories and purchase areas
• Initiate, plan and drive cross functional cost-out activities supporting Hamlets group strategy
• Build and maintain supplier relations within assigned categories and purchase areas
• Represent global procurement in CAPEX projects at the production sites in Horsens and Ohio
• Review current purchase agreements and identify opportunities for improvements
• Identify and drive ESG projects and initiatives within assigned categories and purchase areas
• Establish and maintain purchase master data in our ERP system Navision
• Support Operational Purchase at the production sites with planning and purchase parameters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A hands-on procurement profile which can bridge strategic, tactical and operational purchase tasks
• Documented experiences and results within strategic procurement and contract management
• Knowledge within cost-out activities, RFI/RFQ processes and CAPEX procurement
• Experience with project and risk management preferable also continuous improvement and ESG.
• Good financial understanding and interest combined with an analytical mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills (English and Danish)
• A self-driven team player with interest in cross functional teamwork
• An educational level at bachelor within finance, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience from a similar role
