Then you are the IT Operations Manager for the on-premise Kubernetes Platforms and Data Science applications, NNIT manages for our customers.
The NNIT Kubernetes DevOps unit
You will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, supportive and result-oriented DevOps organization as IT Operations Manager.
We advocate DevOps culture and tooling to clients and provide advisory, technical implementation and IT operation of on-premise Kubernetes platforms.

The role as IT Operations Manager for Kubernetes and Data science applications
This leadership role requires strategic thinking, IT operational expertise, and a strong ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
We offer you a central role in managing k8s Operations services to our customers, and a continuous focus on delivering identical services across customers and improving the IT Operations Services for our customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless application delivery, high availability of Kubernetes environments, and exceptional operational efficiency.
Your main responsibilities
- Responsible for Operations service deliveries and Operations economy across multiple customers.
- Responsible for Incident, change and Problem service processes (ITIL)
- Service delivery KPIs and reporting
Management and Leadership responsibilities
- Lead and manage Operations Services, delivered by a team of Kubernetes administrators and a team of application operations engineers in DK and EU.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery for both Kubernetes infrastructure and customer-facing applications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers concerning operational performance, changes, and escalations.
- Operationalize KPI, SLA and operational metrics to monitor performance and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT processes relevant to your responsibility.
Application Management responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer applications, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security.
- Oversee application deployment processes, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders and teams to align operations with business requirements.
- Implement and enforce best practices for application management, including incident management, change management, and root cause analysis.
- Manage implementation projects and changes
IT Operations Management responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement processes for managing the Kubernetes Platform lifecycle, including patching and upgrading Cloud Native software.
- Ensure operations routines are automated and incident/problem responses are managed and communicated effectively to customers.
Compliance and Security responsibilities
- Strong understanding of security practices and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, security policies, and standards for both Kubernetes and applications.
Your qualifications

- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing customer-facing operations.
- Proven experience of continuous focus on improving service deliveries, delivery economy and reporting.
- Understanding of security practices and compliance standards.
- ITIL/service delivery experience
