Join us and work with the latest embedded technologies connecting hearing aids to the digital world. Wireless communication is becoming ever more important to let hearing impaired participate in society on equal terms. From using your hearing aids as a wireless headset, to connecting to a teachers microphone in the classroom, or simply getting a proper audio signal from your TV at home. We are expanding our team, looking for skilled embedded developers to ensure that we make the most versatile and stable Bluetooth solution.
Join our team
In our team, you will work on the low-level Bluetooth stack in our hearing instruments. We are responsible for the controller and host layers of the Bluetooth low energy protocol, enabling communication with all major phone brands as well as other accessory devices. The majority of our code is in c, using and contributing to the open-source Zephyr project. Our team is a mix of recent graduates and highly experienced engineers. We always work closely together and have multiple pairs of eyes on all tasks to ensure both quality and knowledge sharing, and you will get the best possible opportunity to learn and contribute. You will get a chance to work closely with colleagues in the hardware teams, other embedded software teams, as well as the phone app teams. Together, we are responsible for the full connectivity solution, and it is a very complex and interesting challenge.

We consider both experienced and newly graduated candidates. If you do not have years of experience in all the areas below, we will get you up to speed. You should bring a desire to deeply understand your work area, learning new stuff, and communicating a lot with your colleagues :
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the BLE stack, focusing on the controller and host layers.
- Implement unit tests and other automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BLE features into hearing instruments.
- Optimize code for performance, reliability, and power efficiency.
- Debug and resolve issues related to BLE connectivity and functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest BLE standards and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in C programming, particularly in embedded systems.
- Experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Full understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. #LI-CC1 #LI-REMOTE
