Do you have a strong business understanding and a desire to make an impact by providing financial and analytical support to management and the various functions at Marel in Støvring? We look forward to meeting you in our Business Controlling team in Støvring!

As a Business Controller, you will have a primary focus on Sales projects, Service and Supply Chain, supporting decision-making, risk analysis, and business development, while also helping to ensure the quality of our financial management.

You will be working closely with local business leaders in different functional areas as well as with finance colleagues in other departments (e.g. Financial Control) and controllers in other Marel entities. You will be reporting into the Finance Director of Fish and be part of the Fish and RFS division of Marel.

What will your main tasks be?

• Monitoring and managing monthly reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis, and reporting results to management.
• Supporting our Innovation, Service and Supply Chain (manufacturing, procurement, quality, spare parts) department in executing respective plans at both a strategic and operational level in Denmark.
• Controlling sales projects, including ensuring the quality of cost estimations, ongoing work calculations, and conducting constructive post-project evaluations in close dialogue with sales and project managers.
• Conducting analyses to support decision-making and maintaining and further developing KPI targets for the location.
• Ensuring the prevention of (financial) surprises through a robust system of internal controls.
• Supporting and reviewing capex plans and developing/reviewing related business cases.

• A relevant financial education in fields such as Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Experience from a similar financial role, accounting or financial advisory
• Strong business acumen and a desire to act as a financial sparring partner for the business, with an analytical approach and strong financial skills.
• Experience with ERP-systems such as DAX or SAP is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• A pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, contributing to collaboration and development through clear communication and a proactive approach
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
