Kraftvaerk A/S
Lead UX/UI Designer
Lead UX/UI Designer
We are looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer who thrives on creating high-quality digital experiences and loves solving complex design challenges. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, innovative, and impactful designs that meet user needs and drive business outcomes.
Become part of the journey
Lasting digital solutions succeed when we work cross-functionally across our capabilities and teams. Since 2004 Kraftvaerk has been one of the best within the technical sphere. To evolve the company further and increase the value we can create together, Kraftvaerk has high ambitions to integrate design thinking and business capabilities into a full end-to-end offering for our clients. The initial steps have been taken, clear strategies have been set, and this role is a key piece of the puzzle to succeed.
What the role (could) look like
As a Lead User Experience Designer at Kraftvaerk, you'll have end-to-end responsibility for developing fantastic and user-friendly digital solutions in collaboration with your PM and tech colleagues. You'll work on e-commerce solutions, general websites, portals and mobile applications, designing experiences from scratch as well as continuously developing and growing existing customers (and their solutions). You'll be our Design evangelist, both internally and externally with customers, and you'll contribute to the improvement of our internal processes and methods.
We don’t believe in unicorns and neither do we believe that one person can or should do everything, but to give you an idea of what the Experience team does today and where you can contribute, here is a list of some of our activities:
- Participating in sales activities and help shape arguments and solutions presented to the client
- Taking customer responsibility and support in building their digital roadmap
- Facilitating physical and virtual workshops with colleagues
- Planning and conducting qualitative research activities and communicating insights to customers in a simple and understandable way
- Designing solutions from initial sketches and wireframes to final UI (with focus on UI)
- Developing prototypes and performing test activities on users
- Championing Web Accessibility and conducting audits on behalf of our client's websites
- Mentoring junior designers in the team
- define data and metrics to use for foundation of design and roadmap discussions
- Continuously developing Kraftvaerk's design processes
What we absolutely know you should have:
- 7+ years of experience with UX, preferably from a consultancy
- A collaborative spirit that thrives in integrated teamwork environments.
- Desire and drive to play a central role in building a new business area and department
- Ability to initiate and run projects independently
- Empathy for both customers and colleagues
- Professional ambition and curiosity to seek new knowledge
- Mastery of wireframes, user flows, design guides, etc.
- A desire to balance customer desires, business needs, and technical possibilities
- Confidence in spoken and written English
- Interest in translating customer data into business-critical insights and user-friendly solutions
What we offer
- A dynamic consultancy of 100 dedicated specialists who passionately apply the market’s newest technologies and skills to our daily work to deliver solutions and prestigious projects.
- We combine creativity and considerable expertise, and we successfully attract skilled colleagues, because on top of our ambitions and results we focus on nurturing long-lasting relations – also with respect to our employees.
- Our career model ensures that, as an employee, you can develop and impact your future in short and long term. In this position, we will offer you a salary and employment terms that match your qualifications.
- There is a professional but informal tone in our premises. We know that our unavoidable demands for high quality in the deliveries depend on the employees, so another unavoidable mission is to take care of each other through open dialogue and a high degree of loyalty and propriety.
- A competitive salary package including a bonus scheme and a market leading pension scheme and health insurance.
- An annual company-wide party and local seasonal gatherings and social events.
