To further strengthen our work with HVAC, plumbing and sewerage solutions in our Buildings & Industry division, we are looking for discipline leads for HVAC and plumbing engineers to join our team. We are approximately 115 team members working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects in Engineering.
If you have experience as a discipline leader for HVAC and plumbing engineering, we would very much like to talk with you if you would be interested in shaping the future with us in an innovative environment where we bring out the best in each other. Your daily focus will be on the projects. You will solve most of your tasks in close collaboration with the project team and in close dialogue with clients and partners both domestically and internationally.
Your key activities will be:
- To defining and describing the scope of tasks for the HVAC and plumbing area, where you are the discipline lead.
- To ensure proper staffing, time, and cost efficiency, as well as ensuring quality and progress, where you are the discipline lead, in collaboration with project and section management.
- To ensure coordination with your own and other disciplines including the BIM part, architects, contractors, and other partners throughout all phases of construction, as well as ensuring constructability.
- To contribute to the development of our strong professional environment within the HVAC and plumbing area in collaboration with our professional forum.
- To work on projects related to Pharma, Hospitals, Residential buildings, Cultural and educational buildings, Commercial buildings, Transport hubs, Industrial buildings, Data centers, Power2X and Airports.
- To work across COWI on projects within or outside the section, for example, with COWI International or on projects in other countries.

On top of that, you will have:
- Professional commitment and good leadership skills
- An engineering background with a minimum of 10 years of experience and you are solidly and broadly knowledgeable in HVAC and plumbing design.
- Experience with BIM and 3D design in Revit and methodologies for this.
- Construction site experience and focus on constructability.
- Knowledge of building commissioning.
- Experience in client advisory services and/or client supervision.
- You speak and write Danish or English at a high and technical level.

You will become part of COWI's construction division within Buildings and industry, advising and solving all types of complex and multidisciplinary tasks for a wide range of diverse clients. This is in collaboration across Denmark, as well as in collaboration with our Engineering Design Centre in Lithuania, and India, where solving tasks to the best possible standard is the focus of daily collaboration. In this position, you will become part of a dedicated design team and will report to the head of discipline for mechanical installations.
