Senior Credit Analyst

About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit team in Copenhagen, reporting to our Head of Credit, working closely with other business units as sales, treasury, products and risk management.

In this role you will be a key stakeholder in developing credit related product offerings within the payments space and will oversee the credit risk on both client related offerings as well as the investment portfolio of the bank. You will coordinate initiatives to develop and enhance the credit risk assessment, reporting and monitoring frameworks. Furthermore, you will monitor the performance of the bank's credit risk exposures towards correspondent banks, clients and investments to ensure compliance with regulations and bank-wide credit strategies, policies and risk limits.

Also, you will be involved in the product development of the new credit models and products and improvement of the existing once, and you will participate in projects related to credit risk activities and be part of financial risk committee meetings.

What you will be doing

• Key stakeholder in developing our credit products within the payment space
• Develop and maintain the credit risk management framework
• Ensure implementation and enhancements of credit policies and procedures
• Solution oriented and capable to understand regulatory requirements
• Prepare credit analysis of our counterparties and clients
• Due diligence on investment proposals
• Daily and monthly monitoring of credit risk exposures
• Contact with broad stakeholders across the bank
• Credit risk reporting and preparation of the reports and other credit risk documents for the Management.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate we are looking for someone with a strong experience of minimum 6 years in Banking field ideally, that is structured and has strong analytical skills. With a solid understanding of balance sheets, cash flow statements and income statements. You thrive in working as part of a small team and can work independently when needed.

As a person you know how and when to prioritize your tasks even in a fast-paced environment, and you communicate well with internal and executive stakeholders and business partners at all levels.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
