Management Accountant, Gabon

You will be based in Libreville, Gabon. The environment is collaborative and international, and the office is new.

You will also travel to Copenhagen, Denmark for a week to participate in our Global Onboarding Programme together with other new colleagues across our 18 different locations.

You will be reporting to the General Manager of our Gabon office, who you will be working closely together with.

As our future colleague and Management Accountant you will make a profound impact and have an important voice in changing the way we manage cashflows in Gabon. You will oversee and sign off documents and be responsible for everything related to management accounting.

You will be working both independently, making decisions, but will also work collaboratively with colleagues to get the job done.

You will take part in a great global team and work in close collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The plan is that we will you will have a team reporting directly to you. This is colleagues who are working in Operations, Bunkering and Office Management.

The tasks that await you
As the Management Accountant in NORDEN, you will be responsible for tasks like:

• Driving performance – both in terms of review of the month and regarding accounting.

• Having a complete overview of expenses, what is approved etc..

• Controlling projects.

• Preparing and posting of entries.

• Being responsible for bank reconciliations.

• Having an overview of regulatory and audit preparedness.

Your competencies and core qualifications
Further, to thrive as our future Management Accountant, it is important that you can see yourself in the following statements:

• You hold excellent English skills. This is our corporate language.

• You have experience as a Finance Manager or similar.

• You have experience being responsible for accounting from a global company. Could be from Big Four.

• You know the accounting practices and the regulations in Gabon.

• You have experience controlling cost.

• You are a Gabonese citizen.
