Student Assistant, Sustainability, Focused on Life-Cycle Assessments (LCAs)

As our new Student Assistant, you will play a crucial role in a key part of our sustainability agenda: executing product-level LCAs. Your contributions will create real value for the environment and GN, as we use LCAs in three ways. First, to drive decarbonization in our product development process. Second, to improve our external ESG reporting, as our carbon accounting takes point of departure in LCAs, and finally, in response to a growing demand from customers for carbon transparency of our products

Our team serves as a hub for sustainability knowledge and support, collaborating closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including operations, R&D, product management, communications, and marketing. Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Drive the execution of life-cycle assessments (LCAs) for a variety of products across all GN’s divisions (headsets, video bars, gaming devices, hearing aids)
- Support on ESG reporting, especially related to climate
- Assist with ad hoc tasks to support the team.
- Bring your own ideas and interests to the table.
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
- Have knowledge of and ideally experience with executing LCA
- Have a strong data skills, ideally in sustainability, ESG, or carbon accounting
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office
- Are enroll in your final two years at university in a relevant degree or with work experience in sustainability/LCAs
- Are fluent written and spoken English skills

In GN, our Student Assistants typically work 15-20 hours a week. We value flexibility and will collaborate with you to ensure your working hours complement your studies.
You also have the possibility to join the GN Students Network. This expansive network connects students from various departments and frequently hosts events like Friday bars, student lunches, and other engaging social activities.
