Your position
As our new Senior Global Tax/Mobility Specialist, you will be part of a Global People & Culture department. Semco is a global project organization, and we send manpower, Expat, Service technicians across the world. You will play a key role in supporting and advising the business both in the tender face and when executing the projects. Your focus will be to secure that we are compliant within personal tax, work permit, social security etc. Shaping and driving global mobility strategy, ensuring our processes are robust and effectively implemented across borders. You will be part of a dedicated and skilled People & Culture team, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders and other support functions worldwide to support Semco Maritime’s growth and global operations.
Your place of work will be either our Global HQ in Esbjerg or our Nordhavn office in Copenhagen. The position is full-time and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a global scale.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will take the lead on strategic and operational mobility initiatives that ensure compliance and enable seamless employee transitions across borders.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with our Finance, Rewards, People & Culture and Legal teams to design and execute global mobility policies and programs
- Provide support and guidance on immigration and personal tax globally
- Manage and be responsible for international relocations, and the related processes
- Engage with our external vendors and build relationships to, relocation, personal tax, insurance and pension providers and build up internal knowledge
- Drive the design, governance and management of our global benefits, mobility programs and policies
- Help our employees with relocation, secondments and short-term assignments, in conjunction with our relocation and mobility tax providers
- Provide advice on international personal tax clarifications in collaboration with our external advisors
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated specialist who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment. You ideally come with min. 10 years of experience from a similar position in an international environment, where you have worked within a corporate setting and have gained expertise with global mobility and personal tax. As person you are structured, proactive, with a collaborative approach and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
To succeed in this position, we imagine you have:
- Extensive knowledge in advising on personal tax to our different global projects
- Experience in building up Global Mobility policies, procedures, and can confidently deliver change to this area
- Strong knowledge and experience within global mobility from an HR perspective
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, growing company
- Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
- A team-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
