Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist

Grundfos

Do you want to use your lean skills to improve processes and technologies in a qualified team within an international organization that offers development opportunities? And do you want to have an important part in the development of our production?
Then become our new Senior CI Specialist! As our new Senior CI Specialist, you will be part of the factory management at our Electronics factory in Bjerringbro, where we produce control boxes for motors and pumps. The Electronics factory plans to shape tomorrow's production, including utilizing the benefits of digitalization. Additionally, we are looking into a future with many large projects. You will report to Plant Director Ole Rasmussen.

What is the job about?
As a Sr. CI Specialist, your goal is to deliver improvements broadly across the factory's KPIs, although the primary focus is on direct impact on quality, inventory, and costs. This includes focusing on production technical solutions, but also through digitalization that ensures optimal production flow and efficiency. You will manage and facilitate improvement processes, workshops, and projects – large and small. Your workday will be varied and involve issues that require cross-functional collaboration. At the same time, the day will offer in-depth tasks related to analysis and project planning.

Your two primary goals are firstly to deliver improvements and secondly to develop in accordance with Grundfos' framework for excellent production – the daily Grundfos Production System. Accomplishment in this job depends greatly on your ability to facilitate and direct projects. You will interact with many different stakeholders, and your ability to build relationships is therefore crucial. You will work a lot on-site on the production floor.

Your background:
We imagine that you have:

  • A background as an engineer.
  • Deep experience with lean and improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • You thrive with a broad contact surface and are good at building relationships with stakeholders at different levels in the organization. To find the best solutions, you can involve others and utilize their skills – and you are willing to question the status quo, make a decision, and follow it through.

"We are looking for someone with the right drive, who is motivated to put on safety shoes and move out into production and try things out, while also being able to zoom out and intervene in areas with the greatest potential. You should focus on creating followership and making things happen. You will work independently and at the same time value collaboration highly, as you will work and spar daily with colleagues both in production and in the office."
What’s in it for you?
Whether it’s developing skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive and trusting environment, where we benefit from sparring and using each other’s competence to deliver on our projects and commitments to the organization guided by six core values.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:

  • On top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programs
  • Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development.
  • Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums offering colleagues a safe place to connect and share openly.
