As Head of Construction Project Management at Hilti Denmark, you will lead a team of experienced Construction Project Managers, oversee a diverse portfolio of large-scale projects, and shape our project management strategy. You will play a critical role in integrating Hilti’s products and services into major projects, ensuring that the team delivers customer-centric solutions while driving revenue growth.

What does the role involve?
As Head of Construction Project Management, your leadership will be essential in ensuring the success of our project portfolio, while aligning efforts with Hilti’s commercial objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Team leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Construction Project Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.
- Portfolio and financial ownership : Oversee a portfolio of the largest construction projects in Denmark, ensuring close partnerships with building owners, specifiers and contractors. Take full ownership of the P&L for the portfolio, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and deliver on financial targets.
- Customer management and cross-functional collaboration: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and position Hilti as a trusted advisor. Collaborate closely with Hilti's sales, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of products and services into projects.
- Risk management and reporting: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring all projects meet Hilti’s global standards and comply with regulations. Report on project progress to senior leadership with insights and recommendations to refine strategy and improve project outsomes.
- Strategic execution: Define and execute the strategy for your team and project portfolio (project selection, desired share of wallet, focus applications, etc.), ensuring alignment with Hilti’s broader strategic objectives.

What you need is:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with demonstrated success in project management, construction, or sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in leading diverse, cross-functional teams and delivering results on complex projects.
  • A commercial mindset with strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English. (Fluency in Danish is preferred but not required)
  • A solid understanding of the construction project lifecycle.
