TORM is looking for a result-driven Data Compliance Assistant who can assist vessels in attaining regulatory compliance of vessel emissions in close coordination with external and internal stakeholders. As Data Compliance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping us deliver efficient and reliable solutions, contributing to TORM’s success in the global shipping industry.

Your Role: Make an Impact
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team with a big impact on TORM´s environmental footprint and bottom-line. The Technical Decarbonization team is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and determining actual fleet performance as well as engaging in implementation of projects for fulfilling TORM’s CO2 emission reduction goals.

In TORM, we have a significant range of energy projects on board our vessels, and your primary task will be to ensure MRV and DCS data quality and emission compliance.

This position will be reporting to the Head of Operational Performance and working from TORM´s office in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revision of EU MRV, Fuel EU and SEEMP Part I, II and III plans.
  • Maintain data quality of noon reporting.
  • Close follow-up to receive emission data from secondhand vessel vendors.
  • Completing necessary procedures to report emission data on divested vessels.
  • Providing ESI certificates to vessels and Poseidon Principles data to banks.
  • Follow-up with verifiers and recognized organizations for final verification of data to ensure complete compliance within a set time frame.

To succeed in this role, you bring

  • Previous experience from a similar role would be an advantage
  • Interested in record keeping and documentation
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • A team player with excellent cultural understanding and awareness
  • Ability to work independently with focus on official deadlines
