Join us as Science Manager in the Technology Deployment team in Ventures & External Innovation. You will be responsible for the technical progress of one of our corporate ventures, for taking part in our external scouting and business assessment work, and for contributing to take advantage of external innovation in Novonesis.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Driving the innovation strategy of a corporate venture combining cutting edge science and application understanding with consumer needs to deliver best in class solutions.
Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and drive, embracing agile ways of working, ability to thrive in uncertainty and constant change and willingness to do what is required to make things move forward.
Effectively coordinate cross-functional teams with colleagues across functions e.g. R&D, IP, regulatory, and business development – to ensure requirements for technical success are met.
Drive identification of and relationship management with key opinion leaders and external development partners across academic / business organizations.
To succeed you must have:
- Master's degree or PhD within biotechnology or adjacent areas
- 5 years of work experience within the biotech industry
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate science into plain language
- Previous experience from biopharma or diagnostic industry is distinct advantage
- Interest and track record in project management and an understanding of how innovation processes work
- Ideally, experience with stakeholder management in a larger organization or with externals such as partners or CROs/CMOs
