Do you want your impact to be greater, better, wider? As our Food prototyping technician, you will advance the field of food prototyping not only within Novonesis Food & Protein, but also further the cause for healthier, more sustainable living for a growing populace.
Welcome to New Food & Protein Co-creation.
In our New Food & Protein Co-creation unit, we help our customers develop food and beverage products and protein hydrolysates that appeal to modern consumer demands. Working with our enzyme and microorganism solutions helps us achieve satisfactory results. We are a dynamic and collaborative organization that work with consumer product prototyping to design and construct new concepts with customers.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Being responsible for existing local food quality setup and close collaboration with our food quality department ensuring that we follow quality protocols. Drive the daily ad HOC food quality, such as registrations, documentation, GMP inspection, maintain and support local quality structure in food production facilities.
- Producing food and beverage prototypes for various purposes. Having experience within meat and/or plant-based meat application would be an advantage. Traveling days are to be expected for the position. (4-6 times per year)
- Keeping our prototyping lab facilities in excellent state for production and customer sessions, including maintaining equipment.
- Occasionally participating in Customer Co-creation to showcase our prototypes.
To succeed you must hold:
- A degree as Process/Food Technologist or similar with specialization in food/process.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in food industry with practical experience within HACCP and quality assurance, preferably within plant-based, functional beverages or hydrolysates
- Experience with food quality systems making HACCP plans and risk assessments and following GMP guidelines.
- Experience with office365 package (Teams) and IT systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English
