The position
The team is primarily responsible for chromatographic analyses using UPLC/HPLC, as well as some chemical methods such as Karl Fischer. We specialize in these analytical methods from development to the transfer and implementation of the analytical method in one of the API QC laboratories (DK & US), including providing support to these QC laboratory. We provide ongoing support functions related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of these analytical methods. We conduct analyses related to the development or optimization of a method or the optimization of our existing API processes.

Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:

• Handling and independently performing analyses for development or optimization samples. Managing and reporting data from sample analyses for development or optimization samples
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to support development, optimization, validation and method transfer to QC laboratories.
• Utilizing and maintaining various analytical instruments.
• Testing and implementing new instruments and methodologies.

As part of the MSAT laboratory team, you will play a key role in supporting the analysis of development and optimization samples. Your work will involve close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient handling of samples, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and technologies.

In this team, not many days or tasks are the same, and plans change daily. Hence, a certain level of independence, initiative and maturity is required to thrive in this position.

In order to succeed, you will need to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborators, including project and manufacturing teams, QA, QC laboratories, scientists/engineers, and laboratory technicians.

Qualifications
We are seeking a highly adaptable senior laboratory technician with analytical and collaborative skills.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Laboratory Technician (laborant) or Biomedical Laboratory Technician (bioanalytiker)
• Experience with performing UPLC/HPC analysis
• Experience with data handling and reporting e.g. Empower and LIMS
• Experience with performing maintenance of UPLC/HPLC equipment
• Experience with development work

We require a high level of fluency in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear and effective communication.

Advantage:

• Experience with UPLC/HPLC analysis
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry/knowledge of GMP
• Experience with cLEAN®

About the Department
In Product Supply (PS) API in Kalundborg, we manufacture the high quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) that are the main component in all Novo Nordisk products. Manufacturing Science And Technology, or just MSAT, is specialised in supporting the manufacturing processes.

PS API MSAT Analytical Support are specialised in analytical methods and support functions related to development, implementation and maintenance of a broad range of analytical methods. The department plays a vital role in support to the production and QC laboratories in PS API.

PS API MSAT Analytical Support is located in Kalundborg and is comprised of app. 60 engaged employees organised in four teams. This position is in the chemical support team.
