The team
International Programmes and Partnerships (IPP) is the team in AADK (ActionAid Denmark) international department who represents all angles of AADK and take the Ambassador role towards our partnership countries. In IPP we have responsibility for keeping the direct contact, communication and coordination with our ActionAid partners.

We maintain the quality and overview of our interventions, financial management and compliance of our country programmes and projects incl. adaptation of programmes to the context, context analysis following the political, economic and social development in our partnership countries. We make sure that important developments in partnership countries are communicated internally and externally.

IPP has the direct contact (focal point) to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MfA), participate proactively in fundraising and are managing a portfolio of programmes and projects funded through the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA), the Danish-Arabic Partnership Programme (DAPP) and other donors.

Your task portfolio
You will be primary responsible for our stakeholder accountability, and specifically managing coordination of internal and external processes related to AADK’s engagement with Danida under the SPA and other relevant grants. This includes, but is not limited to;

Grant management

  • Coordinate and ensure submission of timely and high-quality deliveries to Danida in line with the applicable donor guidelines, including strategic updates and budgets, top-up applications, financial and narrative reporting etc.
  • Coordinate and support Annual Consultations and other relevant meetings with Danida.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and ensure follow-up on Danida Reviews and Financial Monitoring Visits.
  • Contribute to AADK’s participation in SPA-related meetings and exchanges with other CSOs, networks etc.
  • Maintain the SPA Grant Page in AADK Contract Management System (CMS) serving as CMS Super User.

Representation

  • Ensure a continuous and positive dialogue with AADK’s focal point in Danida and relevant staff at the MfA.
  • Represent AADK in Annual Consultations and other relevant meetings and processes with Danida.
  • Participate in relevant inception workshops and partnership and monitoring visits, as required.

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a documented track-record of managing ministerial relations and ensuring timely submission of quality deliveries to institutional donors.
  • Specific and robust experience with Danida’s SPA modality, including deep knowledge of the administrative guidelines, compliance requirements and donor expectations pertaining hereto.
  • Strong coordination, communication, negotiation and relational management skills.
  • Extensive experience with development and humanitarian work and applicable principles and standards, including HRBA and CHS.
  • Solid understanding of financial and administrative procedures and practices, incl. budgeting.
  • Experience from an international federation, member alliance or similar international organization.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.
  • It is a distinct advantage if you have experience with Danida’s Danish-Arabic Partnership Programme (DAPP).
