Role summary
We are in search of a proficient Data Analyst to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst you will use your breadth of experience mapping business questions to data problems. You are a great communicator and storyteller - and enjoy helping non-technical audiences see what you see in numbers and complex data sets. You are driven by the “why” behind the work that you do, always eager to ask an extra question to make sure you’re solving for the right thing.

The ideal candidate should excel in utilizing Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric and have a robust ability in documentation, which is crucial for meeting regulatory requirements in the medical devices sector. In this role, you will have the chance to shape and build the future data platform for Ferrosan Medical Devices.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into data models and visualizations.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through meticulous validation and testing.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
• Continuously explore new sources and tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
  

Your profile

• You have a relevant background, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or another relevant field.
• You probably have +2 years proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI.
• You are proficient in data modelling and testing.
• You know your way around data manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, etc.
• You pay attention to details and have commitment to data accuracy.
• You are fluently speaking and writing English.
