We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Recruitment Partner to join our Team in DanChurchAid in Copenhagen. DanChurchAid (DCA) is an organization based on Christian values with an open and inclusive approach to everyone irrespectively of faith or beliefs and culture.

As our new Recruitment Partner it is key that you can find, attract, engage, and welcome with the required talent for both our Head Office and international positions (expats) in all our Country Offices. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and developing the hiring process together with a collaborative and supportive team of specialists, HR Partners and DCA leaders. Our team members come from various backgrounds and bring unique perspectives, creating a rich and inclusive work environment. This is a new role here in DCA, as recruitment has traditionally been an integrated part of the HR Partner role. While HR Partners will continue to support selected recruitments and provide sparring with leaders on needs assessment, this dedicated Recruitment Partner position will allow you to focus on both the outgoing elements of the job and the process-oriented aspects. You will have the opportunity to optimize the recruitment process, aiming to attract the most relevant candidates to apply with DCA.

You will report to the Head of HR, Camilla Plesner Nielsen, and we emphasize a good work environment, where we appreciate a good laugh and value professional feedback. It is important for us that a Recruitment Partner is a trusted partner who contributes to a good collaboration both within the HR team and the rest of the organization. We rely on each other and act as one team to support the entire organization, in particular during these current challenging geopolitical situations.

It is important that you bring an international mindset and are ready to support the global DCA – both from Head Office and, if the situation requires it, by visiting our Country Offices. Though this is not foreseen as an integrated part of the job, your flexibility and readiness to engage with our global operations will be highly valued.

Objective of the Recruitment Partner:
To ensure a professional and proactive recruitment process, from job profile creation to onboarding, while achieving the following goals:

  • Collaborative Recruitment Design:
    • Partner with hiring managers and HR Partners to develop engaging job descriptions, structured interview processes, and clear candidate evaluation criteria.
  • Enhancing Candidate Quality and Interest:
    • Innovate strategies to attract high-quality candidates and boost their interest in joining DCA.
  • Streamlined Employment Contract Management:
    • Ensure employment contracts are prepared and delivered to candidates in a transparent and efficient manner.
  • Efficient Recruitment Process Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment phase of the employee lifecycle in line with DCA policies and procedures, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and continuous process optimization.
  • Employer Branding:
    • Support and/or lead initiatives to enhance DCA's employer brand.
  • HR Project Management:
    • Manage HR projects as required, aligned with your expertise in recruitment and talent management.

About you

  • Educational Background and Experience:
    • Hold an academic degree and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international organization.
  • Recruitment and Compensation Expertise:
    • Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in recruitment and compensation practices.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Must be fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English, as these are the working languages for contracts, collective agreements, and related documentation. Proficiency in French is considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel:
    • Must be able to travel to any of DCA’s Country Offices for short-term assignments (up to a maximum of a couple of weeks), as required by specific tasks.

    • While the role is predominantly based in Copenhagen, there may be opportunities for international travel, up to a maximum of 2–5 weeks per year, to support DCA’s Country Offices as needed.
