Regional Information Security Officer

Join us in this role where you’ll spearhead executive engagement, oversee CIS initiatives, and guide the business on the CIS strategy for our operations across APAC. You’ll deliver CIS/cybersecurity briefings to legal entity boards, risk committees, and operations committees, while also representing CIS in regional projects, audits, and regulatory engagements. Moreover, you’ll act as the regional delegate for our Global Chief Information Security Officer.
Welcome to our Information Security team
You’ll be part of our dynamic security team where you, together with your colleagues, will support our APAC leadership team in governing, overseeing, and managing business cyber risk and cyber compliance, ensuring alignment with the corporate cyber strategy. Additionally, this role ensures that the business, risk, compliance needsx, and context of Ørsted APAC are represented and integrated into the Ørsted corporate information security management system and corporate cyber strategy. As a team, we prioritize innovation, collaboration, and resilience.
You’ll play an important role in:
- evaluating, enhancing, and executing a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the global cybersecurity strategy and with Ørsted APAC business objectives and risk tolerance
- communicating the information security strategy, risks, and incidents to senior management, board members, executive committee, and other stakeholders, providing key performance indicators
- serving as Ørsted APAC representative to APAC cyber authorities, regulators, and auditors
- working closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to integrate corporate information security considerations into business processes and projects
- maintaining updated knowledge of the cybersecurity regulatory landscape.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have proven expertise and experience in information security governance, management, and compliance in multinational companies
- have excellent communication skills across global stakeholders and board levels
- possess the ability to adapt to evolving security challenges and requirements, proactively adjusting security strategies, and tactics to address new threats and vulnerabilities
- have proficiency in analyzing, evaluating security threats and vulnerabilities, as well as assessing the potential impact on the organization
- have working knowledge of ISMS standards (ISO 27001, NIST) and have a Security Management/Security Leadership certification (e.g. CISM or SANS Institute)
